19 kwi 2019 · The 30sf had a slightly smaller grip size, front to rear, then the 30 to help folks with smaller hands, like me, but that was before the gen4 came out. I read somewhere that the 30 Gen4 had the sf frame. If that's correct then that would make the 30 Gen4 exactly the same pistol as the 30sf.

Today, we’re looking at the Glock 30S, SF (Short Frame) and this is a whole different animal than the original Model 30 was. The Glock 30S, SF has a slide that is taken from the Glock 36, and it is thinner and trimmer.

13 lis 2013 · Glock 30S: Defining a Subcompact. Glock currently offers four variants of this pistol: a standard Model 30 (the original), the 30SF (reduced frame circumference for an easier trigger reach), the 30S you see here (slimmer slide on an SF frame) and the Glock 30 Gen4.
21 maj 2013 · I recently compared the Gen 4 G30, a G30 SF, and a G30s all side by side. All were new in the box, were blue labels and were priced exactly the same. I chose the Gen 4 G30 because it felt better to me.
12 kwi 2019 · The G30SF (Short Frame) receiver of the G30S differs slightly from the standard Gen3 G30 receiver in that the trigger reach distance of the SF grip is shorter by ~2-3mm measured from back strap to trigger. The width of the G30S slide (1.003" ± 0.002") is 1/8 inch less than the G30/30SF slide (1.126" ± 0.002").
