The only real difference between the two is that the G36 is 4 ounces lighter (unloaded, 6 ounces loaded), 0.1 inches thinner and carries less ammunition (which accounts for the weight difference).
29 sty 2015 · I own, carry and shoot a 30s; I have shot my friend's 36. Grip on 36 is slimmer, slide is the same as on the 30S (30S is a 36 slide on a 30SF frame). Depending on the size of your hand, one or the other may be more comfortable to grip and to shoot.
