24 paź 2011 · I currently own a Glock 30SF. I did a comparison of the technical data from the Glock site. The only real difference between the two is that the G36 is 4 ounces lighter (unloaded, 6 ounces loaded), 0.1 inches thinner and carries less ammunition (which accounts for the weight difference).
20 sty 2012 · Most of us shoot the regular velocity ammo for target shooting, plinking, competition, etc., and save the +P loads for serious work. You can go to youtube and put in +P ammo and see some good demonstrations of what a +P load will do. Here's one. [ame]http://youtu.be/YcwaMwB13Gg[/ame] The Glock 30 will eat +P loads just fine, it's a sturdy gun.
Steel cased ammo is completely fine to shoot out of a Glock. I carry Federal HST 230gr exclusively out of my G30. It's accurate and feeds reliably. Expansion and penetration is consistent from the 3.7" barrel.
If you are more interested in concealed carry guns with heavier calibers, Glock has two most suitable weapons for you: the Glock 36 and the Glock 30 Gen 4. Both guns have .45 auto caliber to ensure higher accuracy and better reliability.
27 lis 2012 · My 30 is the most accurate glock I have shot (I own Several 21's, 30's and one 17. I have shot 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 23C, 26, 27 and 30. To me the 30 is the best. I have not shot a 36 yet but really want to. If it is as good as the 30 I will add one to my carry routine!
26 lip 2021 · The Glock 30S, SF has a slide that is taken from the Glock 36, and it is thinner and trimmer. The nickname used by Jim Rawles for the Glock 30S is the “Glock 30-Skinny”, and it is his preferred carry gun–often with a 13-round Model 21 magazine and a “filler” ring.
22 sty 2013 · People will have their favorites but I don't think there is really a lot of difference between the premium JHP rounds from the major manufactures. Some will dismiss Hydra-Shok as outdated but in .45 at least they still show good performance in gel testing.
