1 kwi 2016 · The 30sf is a smooth shooter. For me I see no difference in recoil between a 23 with 180grn HST and the 30s shooting 230grn HST. So if size and weight is an issue I carry the 23 with extra ammo capacity. The 30sf just shoots the 230grn great, even the +p.
22 lip 2014 · I have come across quite a few threads where members are asking which pistol, between the Glock 30SF and the Glock 30S, would be the better pickup for them.
10 kwi 2018 · The Glock 30S and Glock 30SF are Gen3 only. The G30S is a G30SF frame topped with a slimmer, lighter slide and smaller O.D. barrel originally designed for the G36 single stack 45ACP pistol. I suggest taking a look at the post linked below for more info comparing these three models in greater detail.
12 kwi 2019 · The G30S is a Gen3 G30SF (10+1) receiver (post June, 2012 version) topped with a slimmer, lighter slide and barrel originally designed for the G36 single stack 45ACP pistol. The slide of the G30S, designed for the smaller outside diameter of a G36 barrel (thinner walls), will not accommodate the factory barrel from a G30 or G30SF 45ACP pistol.
