The Glock 27 remains a well-made, reliable gun that’s great for concealment and more than capable of being effectively used for self-defense.
25 lip 2012 · Most believe the heavier bullet is best for self defense, I've heard arguments between 165 gr and 180 gr. Speer and Federal are popular for self defense. In my opinion any bullet will get the job done, if you do your part. If recoil is a consideration, try a couple weights and see which shoots best "for you".
11 maj 2024 · Can a Glock 27 shoot 9mm ammo? No, a Glock 27 cannot shoot 9mm ammo. It is specifically chambered to fire .40 S&W ammunition and cannot be used with 9mm cartridges.
28 kwi 2017 · I'm a recently retired LEO who's looking to settle on a pistol/carbine combination. I've managed to accumulate a lot of .40 S&W ammo, so I'm leaning toward that caliber. (My first choice at this point is the Glock 27 with either the Aero Survival carbine or Kel Tec Sub 2000.)
13 lut 2023 · One word that comes to mind when shooting the Glock 27 is “squirrely.” One of the major advantages of the 9mm over the .40 S&W is reduced recoil. The extra recoil in the .40 is very, very apparent in the G27.
8 kwi 2013 · The G27 can accept conversion barrels that will allow you to shoot either 9mm or 357 sig through the gun with the correct magazines. This allows for cheaper practice when using 9mm, or the ability to have three pistols in one if that’s what you want. Accessories!!! This is a huge plus for all Glock pistols.
