1 sty 2011 · The recoil between a 3rd Gen 26 and 4th Gen 26 is practically the same. The recoil spring is the same in the two guns. The advantages of the 4th Gen is a bigger mag release, improved grip texture (IMO), and improved grip with MBS.
1 lip 2023 · Did a range day yesterday with my Glock 26 Gen 4. Speed and accuracy drills, some mid-range (19 yard) shooting. It performed flawlessly as always. Confirmed the often-heard quote: “Small gun that shoots like a big gun!”
3 lut 2012 · I have owned my Glock 26 G4 for quite a while now and still was struggling with accuracy at 40'. Finally today I bench rested the pistol and fired some 7 round groups to find the gun shoots consistently at 7 o'clock and the groups are about 6" or so.
9 lut 2016 · Mechanically, the sub compact Glocks are the most accurate because of the very short and tight barrel lockup. However because they are really a 2 finger gun and generate more recoil that a full size small frame gun of the same caliber, they are not as easy to shoot.
23 lis 2012 · Overall accuracy of the 26 it typical Glock, meaning it’s more accurate than I am. I’m not going to win any long range competitions with it, but out to 25 yards is no problem. I did swap out the sights to a set of my preferred tritium Speed Sights .
