18 sie 2016 · You can put a Gen 3 guide rod into the Gen 4 if you use the recoil spring adapter (it will not work the other way around). The dual recoil spring helps reduce the felt recoil and also increases the lifespan of the assembly because it isn’t working as hard as the Gen 3 single-spring.
16 cze 2011 · Both the Gen 3 and Gen 4 subcompacts use dual coil spring, no change in design and like I stated before no change in spring weight. The compact and full size gen 4's they went from a single to a dual recoil spring assembly and had to reinvent the wheel.

5 mar 2019 · The first guy told me that the 9mm (17 and 34) has the same recoil spring weight of 17lbs as the .357, .40, and .45GAP in Gen 4. When I told him they have different recoil spring assemblies in Gen 4, he said that doesn't matter, they're all the same 17 pounds, just with different parts numbers.
27 sie 2021 · The Glock 26 is equally ideal for ladies or anyone with a small hand. The 9 mm round has a very low felt recoil, although it is felt a bit more in the 26. It is nothing that cannot be overcome with a copious amount of shooting practice.
