17 lip 2011 · Like others have said, Glock redesigned many of the 9mm 4th gen recoil spring assemblies. I'm not sure about the .40 RSA'a either... Call Glock on their main 800 number and ask for Technical Support... Explain the problem and they'll probably send you a newer RSA... no charge!
4 maj 2013 · The reason you are experiencing ejection problems is because the 9mm cartridge does not have enough power to cycle the heavier .40 slide. You can try using a light weight recoil spring, but this might lead to failure to feeds because the spring will not have enough force to drive the slide closed.
25 cze 2024 · Recoil Spring Assembly (RSA) Problem: RSA unseats from half moon barrel notch during firing (or racking) and ends up reseating and resting on the barrel lug ledge. Sometimes, esp. with after-market thicker flange RSAs, this hangs the slide up when field stripping. Every Glock I have does this - 19, 17, 26, 43, 42.
