After the Gen 3 Glock went to the dual-stage recoil spring. It's good for .40 S&W to handle the snappy recoil but not so good for 9mm.

20 wrz 2019 · GLOCK 23 Gen 4 PROS And CONS. PROS: Smooth cycling. Simple controls. Handles the hotter 40 caliber cartridges well. No problems. We would buy this one far and away over other 40 Auto pistols. CONS: 40 Auto caliber is un-popular. 9mm GLOCK 19 has less recoil and more magazine capacity.
15 wrz 2017 · I really miss the size/capacity envelope of the G19/23. I thought about putting a conversion barrel in my Gen 3 Glock 23 but figured I'd be better off with a Gen 3 Glock 19 and then the Gen 5 came along and gave me a new choice.
