1 mar 2018 · Just get the ISMI springs (flat wound, like OEM), and you can put them on the OEM guide rod. Lock the slide back, pull the tip off, change spring, push the tip back on, done. Only works for going down in weight, not up. 20lb plus springs are too strong for the OEM rod and the tip will pop off.
8 wrz 2015 · For Glock 17 - use the original recoil spring. For Glock 34 - use the RYG stainless steel Tungsten guide rod. For Glock 35 - use the 13 lbs spring in a stainless wolf guide rod. It ran flawlessly.
If the Outer Diameter is too small, the spring may grind against the recoil guide rod. Check your pistol's recoil assembly to get an idea of what size of spring would fit. 10 paź 2019 · Guide rod, no reason to change unless you are tailoring the recoil spring weight to a specific load. For competition I use an aftermarket guide rod (stainless) and a 13lb spring. That works very well for my 130pf loads. My non-competition Glocks all run the factory RSA.
19 paź 2013 · The stock spring weight for a Glock 17 9mm is 17 pounds. If you want to change spring weights frequently and use different velocity ammo, choose a guide rod that will allow you to disassemble it and change springs.
