16 cze 2022 · The new bank, after the merger, will be named Global IME BoK Limited, according to a statement issued by the Global IME Bank. Five members, including Dhakal, from the Global IME Bank, and two members from Bank of Kathmandu, will represent the board.
14 lis 2022 · Global IME Bank Limited and Bank of Kathmandu (BOK) on Monday signed a final memorandum of understanding for a merger. After the merger, the bank will become the largest commercial bank in Nepal with a total capital of Rs57 billion, the bank said in a statement.

The memorandum of understanding was signed today in Kathmandu by Global IME Bank Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Bank of Kathmandu Limited Chairman Prakash Shrestha.

Global IME BOK Limited has been agreed upon as the name of the new bank that will be formed as a result of the merger.
