5 paź 2024 · The Central Ohio Soaring Association (COSA) is central Ohio’s premier soaring club. Just a short drive from Columbus Ohio, we offer members a chance to not only learn how to fly a glider, but also a community of welcoming, experienced, and passionate aviators.
If you live in the greater Columbus Ohio area and are looking to experience flight in a glider, COSA offers introductory glider flights to get you up in the skies quickly and safely.
COSA offers gliders rides to the general public every Saturday and some Sundays during the summer and fall, weather permitting. All flights are with a Commercial Rated Glider Pilot or Certified Glider Flight Instructors. Introductory flights are typically to 3000 ft and last about 17~22 minutes.
CCSC is also home to more than 35 privately owned gliders. Members volunteer their time one day a month as instructors, tow pilots and ground handlers for flying on weekends and Wednesdays all year round.

Go for a glider ride! Glider Flight at Harris Hill. The People: Your glider pilots have been certified by the FAA to give rides. The Process: We offer 15-20 minute rides seven days a week, 10AM – 6PM, until Labor Day. Then we’ll fly on weekends until late October.
