Unfortunately I ended up seeing the end of gladiator without seeing the whole movie, so the ending wasn't that sad when I first saw it. When I finally saw the full movie I am pretty sure I bawled my eyes out.

I am 28 years old. I have watched a lot of movies in my short life. I have watched Gladiator at least four times. But after rewatching Gladiator released in 2000 staring Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix, and Connie Nielsen; directed by Ridley Scott, I can say - without a shadow of a doubt in my soul, that this is the best movie I have ever seen.
