They are compiled on the latest version of Windows, MacOS, and Ubuntu-16.04. For the most part, using any of the binary releases should be as simple as downloading and launching them. If the premade binaries cannot work on your platform, or if you'd prefer to manually install, follow the steps below:

Just download and extract the windows zip from here https://github.com/IceWreck/reddit-img-dl/releases/tag/v6.1.0. Then open cmd or powershell in current directory and type reddit-img-dl.exe --subreddit pics --concurrency 50 --sort-top
