Northwest Girls Softball (NWGS) was founded in 1995 by Sally Commerford to give girls in Las Vegas a chance to fall in love with softball. Today, NWGS is the largest softball league in Nevada with over 450 registered players in six age divisions.
Northwest Girls Softball is a non-profit organization run solely by volunteers, whose mission is to provide an opportunity for our community’s children to learn the game of softball in a positive and safe environment and develop an understanding of fairness, sportsmanship, and teamwork toward each individual.
