3 paź 2015 · The most common problem with recent installs of the GIMP on a Mac are permissions problems, just like this error. Unlike most commercial program, GIMP is not a signed program. To fix it, you need to go into the security pannel in your settings and allow program downloaded from anywhere, and not just the signed ones.
12 sty 2023 · As of this writing, it the gimp-2.10.32-x86_64.dmg is the newest for Intel. If that does not resolve this, contact the folks supporting GIMP. Maybe used the wrong download button? Use the circled download button for a direct DMG download of the Intel x86-64 kit:
10 lut 2010 · Does anyone know if I can open GIMP on a Mac running OS X 10.9.5? I just get a message saying that it cannot be opened, but not telling me why. Can you try running GIMP from the command-line/terminal/console window?
7 mar 2023 · my problem is, my mac message I gets- “this application is not supported on this mac” currently running macOS big sur 11.6.8 I’m new to this so I hope it’s something easy to fix. … Not sure I picked the right category.
26 maj 2014 · Check the terminal window for error messages that could indicate the reason for the program not starting up correctly. I said I installed from macports i.e. sudo port install gimp. OSX 10.9.2. Don't do that. Use the native build which will cause you the least problems.
2 paź 2012 · I've downloaded the new GIMP 2.10.12 and delete the previous version (!). Then, I've recently updated my Mac with Mojave 10.14.5. After this I couldn't use GIMP. For ex, I am starting to open the app, then, on the final step I hit Open and wait and wait and GIMP is not opening.
After recent update to macOS Catalina all programs are asking if I'm giving the right permissions for them. Unfortunately, with GIMP it was not the case and whenever I'm trying to open any file using GIMP I have the following error Could not read the contents of Desktop.
