Gilligan Meets Jungle Boy is the nineteenth episode of the First Season. It first aired February 6, 1965. Hearing strange noises, Gilligan heads into the jungle and discovers a Jungle Boy running loose on the island. He tries telling the Skipper and Professor, but they don't believe him.
Gilligan finds a Jungle boy (Kurt Russell) on the island. Gilligan tells Skipper and Professor what he saw but they don't believe him. Later, the boy takes Gilligan to a natural source of helium on the island. Gilligan brings the boy back to camp and the ladies try to teach him some English.
Gilligan discovers a jungle boy living on the island. He shows them a hole in the ground that causes objects to float, and the professor theorizes that it is expelling either helium or hydrogen. He immediately sets to work building a large balloon, with the hopes of carrying one of them back to civilization.
