   As I wanted to know why, I noticed that the CPU temperature in idle in Gigabyte Control Center is at 30°C, within a few seconds it jumps to 45°C, 60°C, 75°C and ten seconds later it is back at 42°C. Of course the fans speed up according to the temperature curve.

   I just finished building my PC and i need some kind of fan-control/hardware monitor software for it. On my old ROG laptop I used Armoury Crate to modify fan curves, monitor temperatures, and all that cool stuff, and I want something that can do all that stuff for my new PC.

   "Smart fan 6" doesn't appear to have a Windows utility and it doesn't appear to work with either the smart fan 5 utility or SIV (gigabyte Windows apps).    Aorus MB temperature monitor? I used System Information Viewer, it can show temperatures. Anyway to make it show temperatures like a widget each time after reboot? It will be 3rd party software that does it like Open Hardware Monitor.

   30 lip 2024 · Based on my experiences, Gigabyte's normal fan curves are set a bit too high. Probably to cope with setups with poor airflow. I usually would recommend using the silent profile on CPU coolers.

   HWInfo has great integration with both RivaTuner, if you want to display stats in-game, and with Rainmeter, which you can use to create widgets with temperatures, fan rpms etc. for your desktop.

   Disk sentinel: tried and true for disk health. Core Temp: monitoring CPU temp, voltage, core clock and usage. It's just a simple program. Hwinfo, afterburner and Ryzen master.
