Is anybody else getting this many ads on prime video? They’ve rolled out the ads now and I can’t watch a show without being shown an ad at least every 5 minutes but sometimes even less. It’s made it completely unwatchable. Feels like I’m being literally bullied into paying more (I won’t be).
When Amazon Prime was $79.99 as late as 2017, it offered Prime Videos ad-free, Prime Music basic (on-demand), unlimited music cloud storage, unlimited photo and video cloud storage. It’s now $140, and all of those are gone.
I too am fed up with Amazon Prime. The quality of the videos available is down compared to other pay-per-view streaming services. The ads are now so obnoxious, it is a waste of money even belonging to Prime. Most packages ordered from Amazon have free delivery and Prime is no faster for a Prime member.
Amazon Prime Video was a way to justify paying $15 a month for Prime, along with Prime free 2 day shipping. Seems they are sliding on all their Prime benefits and hoping that subscribers don’t notice, like the saying ‘frog boiling in a pot doesn’t notice slow changes in temp.’
Amazon to Bring Commercials Into Prime Video. Ad-supported tier will be the default option starting in early 2024. Users who want to continue watching without commercials will have to pay an extra $2.99 per month.
Check out Geto Boys on Amazon Music. Stream ad-free or purchase CD's and MP3s now on Amazon.
Discussions pertaining to CDs and collections! I’ve heard mixed things off buying cds from Amazon mainly cracked cases and damages during shipping. Is it worth it? I have bought hundreds. If it comes cracked exchange it no questions asked. I recommend using discogs. That way, you're supporting small record shops & individuals.
