31 maj 2009 · I use the magic eraser to clean old seat, cables, and mags. Ive used it on Blue Tuff IIs, Green Tuff II, and white Tuff IIs, and white OKG. Might have to srub your knuckles off if the brake rub has built up a thick layer, but keep scrubbing and they look as good as new.
You have to tighten your u brake springs, this will give it a softer braking mechanism l, and it will puch it away from your wheel
There was rubbing at the rear disc brake to the point it would stop wheel rotation prematurely when I spun the wheel by hand. Retried this process several times. There seems to be little to zero clearance with the outer brake pad, with visible clearance on the inner pad.

15 wrz 2022 · Is the brake rotor only rubbing on one side? If so, loosen the caliper, slide a business card in between the pad and the rotor on the side that was rubbing, squeeze the lever and re-tighten. That usually works for me, I even made a "special tool" (a cut up piece of a plastic document folder) to make it easier.
