The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu (Lat: Archdioecesis Kotakinabaluensis) is a metropolitan archdiocese of the Latin Church of the Roman Catholic Church in Sabah, Malaysia, on the island of Borneo.
It is inhabited by an almost entirely Dusun ethnic community and is on the highway connecting Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan. Just 20 kilometers away from Kinabalu Park, it is one of the gateways to the National Park, Poring Hot Springs, and Sabah Tea Garden.
Gereja St. Michael ialah sebuah gereja Roman Katolik di Donggongon, Penampang, Sabah, Malaysia. Ia adalah gereja tertua di daerah Penampang dan gereja batu kedua tertua di Sabah, selepas Gereja St. Michael dan Seluruh Malaikat di Sandakan .
Katedral Hati Suci merupakan katedral Keuskupan Agung Roman Katolik Kota Kinabalu, dan tempat duduk ketua biskopnya sekarang, John Wong Soo Kau. Katedral semasa dibina dari 1979 hingga 1981, dengan dedikasinya diadakan pada 21 November 1981.
St. Michael’s Church is located in Donggongon, a town in the district of Penampang, about 15 to 18 kilometers from Kota Kinabalu, approximately 25-30 minutes drive away. It is the oldest church in the district of Penampang and the second oldest stone church in Sabah, after the Anglican St Michael’s and All Angels Church in Sandakan.
