In order to become an armed security guard in Nevada, applicants must have a registration card and have passed a security guard exam with a score of 100%. Since they'll be using a gun, additional firearms training is also mandated.
Las Vegas security guards must pass an online unarmed security guard exam prior to obtaining a PIRB unarmed security guard card. The test contains 30 questions. A score of 100% is required for passage; however, the test taker may retake the test as necessary and each of the questions are provided in the official study guide.
While Georgia does not require security guards to hold a valid license, in order to legally work in this state, you must complete a 24-hour classroom training program accredited by the Georgia Board of Private Detectives & Security Agencies.
