17 sty 2011 · I went shooting my Gen 4 model 19 again today. Have put about 1000 or so rounds through it in the last 5 months. Interesting thing today though was the fact that, for the first time, I had failures to fire. Out of the 100 rounds that I shot today, had 7 instances where the bullet loaded, slide closed fully, but no fire when depressing trigger.
I am planning on getting my first Glock and have been deciding between the Gen 3 G19 and the Gen 4. I have read a ton of threads about Gen 4 issues, but haven't seen many new ones from 2014 talk about this. My questions are: 1. Have they ironed out all the issues on the Gen 4s?

I find it to be a suitable and concealable EDC weapon for almost every style of dress, though I prefer a single stack for formal dress.

18 sie 2013 · I bought my glock 19 gen 4 a few months ago and haven't had any problems with it. I believe when they first came out the issue they were having with the spring has been resolved. I've read that if you run into this issue with your gen 4 you can send back the spring and glock will replace for free, not sure if this is true or not.
22 kwi 2011 · I am thinking of getting a G 19 but remember reading about spring issues with the first gen 4s that hit the market. Can someone please post a short summary about it. Is it still a problem or is the g19 good to go now?
30 paź 2016 · I bought a gen 4 19 a few months back, put about 200-300 rounds through it with no problems. I just put a factory extended slide lock and a new factory gen 4 trigger bar from a 17 for the smooth trigger face.
