29 kwi 2016 · This Glock 17 is a true omnivore when it comes to ammo types and has yet to experience one hiccup. Probably the most contested feature on Glock pistols is the trigger. Granted, the G17’s trigger is no where near as buttery smooth as a custom tuned 1911.

31 mar 2024 · Gen 3 guns are awesome, and the 17 is one of my favorites. Probably one of the nicest polymer fullsize 9mms to shoot, too. Gen 3 guns may have had some really rare, minor issues, but they're the gun that got deployed to the GWOT.
The Glock 17 has more aftermarket parts than any other gun beside the Glock 19. You can build multiple generations of a Glock firearm without using a single Glock part in the build. The Glock Gen3 has more parts than the other gun ever made often on the aftermarket.

In addition, you can get different generations in each, from Gen 3 to 5 along with optics ready MOS versions. Newer slim line models have come out for smaller hand or better concealability. Glock has a handgun for every need.
