On PC, the only splitscreen you can do is campaign (and even then it forces you completely offline so you can't do two people on one PC with someone else online in Gears 5, although you can do 3 player splitscreen in Gears 5). For starters make sure you have an open NAT. Go to Windows settings -> Gaming -> XBOX networking. This will run a network test with the XBOX LIVE server. If your NAT type comes back as Moderate or Strict, you need to go to your router configuration and open all relevant ports for XBOX LIVE.
We like co-op campaign games like RE5/6. I like support/medic characters when offered in games and heard about this Jack robot who is used a lot in the Horde mode. Can the 2nd player choose this character at all times during the co-op campaign?
