20 lis 2017 · Hi All. I m interested to know about the GB orange bars. Mostly for their pro titanium line. Anything valuable such as pros & cons, tests, versus Stihl, Oregon or the japanese bars. Seems they sell for a good price out there...
17 wrz 2013 · GB Ti bars are getting harder and harder to get, even in Australia where GB operates from. They are definitely good bars but in my experience are no better than a cheaper Pro Top. I think you are far better getting a Jap made Total bar (made by Tsumura) or a Cannon (spendy).
30 kwi 2018 · Skip link and hyper skip link ripping chain - pros and cons. For longer bars (bars that are over 3 foot) you may consider using skip link chain on your chainsaw mill. Skip link chain has an extra tie strap between each cutter.
I have several of them ( 16”,20” & 24”) they seem to be good bars. They are definitely solid & have some heft to them.
10 paź 2010 · They are very good bars - but so are the oregon, stihl and gb pro bars. I've still found myself dressing the rails regularly on cannons the same as other bars. The longer gb bars are heavier built with thicker rails and I have found they have slightly less flex in them than the cannon bars.
search all reviews. Great service as usual, good quality chain as a professional cutter longevity is important and these chains last well. It’s a nice bar for thinning work. I’m sick of getting the stihl light bars bent and damaged when doing thinning work and this one is doing a nice job.
6 mar 2009 · GB is just using the makeup of their steel alloy as a marketing tool. They are good bars, I've got a 36" on my 066. The Baileys Woodland pro bars (the black ones) are made by Cannon, excellent quality, priced accordingly. I've been using the "Total" Super Bars from may local dealer, good bar at a reasonable price. Ed
