17 wrz 2013 · GB Ti bars are getting harder and harder to get, even in Australia where GB operates from. They are definitely good bars but in my experience are no better than a cheaper Pro Top. I think you are far better getting a Jap made Total bar (made by Tsumura) or a Cannon (spendy).
Someone here may know the name of the GB dealer that occasionally runs sales on these bars. At one time the 20” bars were crazy cheap.

4 sty 2022 · I'm running Sugi, Tsumura and GB bars, in a variety of bar lengths. I'm a bit like Matty in my Sugi opinion. I'm using a 15 on my 550 currently though and it's holding up well. The Tsumura lost all its colouring very fast, and I managed to take a chunk out the bar quite easily which was disappointing.
10 paź 2010 · My only complaint is that they dont do a 15" Bar, I buy a 16" and pay a friend to modify it. Also I have had fantastic service from Tavistock Chainsaws ordering after 16.30 and still having 8.30 the next day delivery.

6 mar 2009 · GB is just using the makeup of their steel alloy as a marketing tool. They are good bars, I've got a 36" on my 066. The Baileys Woodland pro bars (the black ones) are made by Cannon, excellent quality, priced accordingly. I've been using the "Total" Super Bars from may local dealer, good bar at a reasonable price.
