San Bernardino champion of the movimento dell'Osservanza, inside of the Franciscan Order and famous preacher who was in Verona in 1422 and 1443. By his preaching he spread the veneration of Gesus' name shown on the monogram IHS (Iesus Hominum Salvator), surrounded by a 12 rays sun (the 12 apostles).
