Our data suggest that GATA-4 could be a novel potential therapeutic target, and miR-497 could serve as a potential non-invasive biomarker for high-grade meningioma. Meningioma is the most frequent primary intracranial tumour.
In vitro, GATA-4 transactivates LHR promoter, and gonadotropins upregulate GATA-4 levels. Human adrenal tumors occasionally express GATA-4, whereas GATA-6 levels are usually lower than normal.
9 mar 2020 · In this study, we investigated whether local intramyocardial GATA4 overexpression affects the left ventricular (LV) remodelling process and the importance of phosphorylation at serine 105 (S105) for the actions of GATA4 in an angiotensin II (AngII)‐induced hypertension rat model.
GATA4 bound to the enhancer region of IFIT family genes and promoted the expressions of IFIT1, IFIT2, and IFIT3, which promote type I IFN induction. SLE monocytes with accelerated cellular senescence produced high levels of IFNα related to GATA4 expression upon activation of the cGAS-STING pathway.
2 maj 2018 · GATA4, a member of GATA zinc-finger transcription factor family, has been shown to regulate differentiation, growth, and survival of a wide range of cell types 11 – 13.
Patients by definition have normal levels of IgG and IgM, and no paraprotein. Serum IgA levels do not reach adult levels until around 8 years of age. A diagnosis of IgA deficiency should not be made below the age of 4. Common variable immune deficiency is the most common significant primary antibody deficiency affecting children and adults.
13 cze 2008 · Our results show that overexpression of GATA4 is sufficient to protect α1ABKO cardiac myocytes from NE-induced cell death. However, we found that the α1A-subtype did not induce phosphorylation or increase the activity of GATA4 in adult mouse cardiac myocytes in culture or in vivo.
