A problem-solution essay is an essay that describes a problem in detail and presents a clear solution or a set of solutions to that problem. It aims to convince the reader that the problem is significant and needs addressing, and that the proposed solution(s) is both feasible and effective.
A problem-solution essay stands apart from narrative, descriptive, and expository essays by focusing sharply on identifying a problem, analyzing its causes, and proposing effective solutions.
