20 sie 2009 · i have a 2008 22ve and i don't have a handle on the back of the boat to help with getting back onto the platform. i had an older lady that had a little trouble getting in and i'm sure my grandparents couldn't do it. any suggestions on installing a handle?
11 gru 2022 · That is the one that Tige uses. It needs a spacer place on the bottom. The factory installs the ladder then applies the GatorStep over the screws for a cleaner install. Problem is, last summer, I kept cracking the flexible costal cartilage just forward of my 9th and/or 10th rib when reaching for the handle while pulling myself on the swim deck. Has anyone ever added a “covert” boarding ladder to (preferably under) their swim deck that doesn’t interfere?
The platform has built-in reinforced stringers where the ladder is mounted. It is a Garelick product, but don’t know the exact model as it’s not on the ladder. It does look like model 19643 that you’ve pointed out. Here are the pics.
15 maj 2024 · I installed a Garelick 4 step telescopic ladder (model 19684) on my boat's transom and found that its vertical stowing position could interfere with wave wackers. It's a really nice ladder, with a ridiculous 400lbs rating, so I wanted to make it work.
23 lis 2008 · I am looking for a new ladder, a 4 step t style. The garelick is about double the price of a windline, and both are rated for 400 pounds. Anyone have experience with one vs the other? Mine is the aluminum Garlick, it floats if dropped.
