24 lut 2022 · I found Ark Nova quite similar to but heavier with more interesting decisions. Earth is more like . Ark Nova is much longer. So I think it depends on what kind of games you can get to the table. Also if you are looking for a four player game then Earth may be better.

30 wrz 2022 · if you are looking for something interesting take a look at (2-3 players) or (3players), they provide an endlessly interesting game driven by a large pool of cards that makes each game unique. They are somewhat more complex and challenging then TM and Ark Nova, and they feature player interaction. Tip.
Ark Nova has a huge noob trap where if everyone is derping around building unfocused synergies the game takes too long. Fortunately, even a single player can stop long games with focused efficient gameplay if you have to get the game over with in 2 hours.
Ark Nova is really good at 2 player. If you want to try it out first, it's available on BGA (it's a "premium" game but you're still able to play it as a free player, just have to wait in queue longer).
My top recommendation would be Lewis & Clark which is a race to the finish like Ark Nova, features worker placement like GAH and has some handbuilding and card/resource management. You could play it for free on the BoardGameArena website to try out if you want.
2 dni temu · In my opinion it plays well at 2, 3, or 4. I have never tried the solo. Ark Nova is a top 10 game for me, but I will never play it with 4 players. The downtime is too long, at least for the pace my group plays at. Works at all player counts but as mentioned above, can be long with 4. 4 too long and too much downtime.
19 lut 2022 · It’s not perfect, and I’m not sure it is the best game to be released in 2021. But if you enjoy your games heavy, featuring lots of meaty decisions, quick turns, a personal zoo, and a buffet of combos available in mid- and late-game turns, you can’t really go wrong with Ark Nova.
