24 lut 2022 · I found Ark Nova quite similar to but heavier with more interesting decisions. Earth is more like . Ark Nova is much longer. So I think it depends on what kind of games you can get to the table. Also if you are looking for a four player game then Earth may be better.

30 wrz 2022 · I have all of them plus Ark Nova and Terraforming Mars. I can vouch for Boonlake and Maracaibo, haven't played Underwater Cities yet but from what I watched, it also looks like a nice engine building game with good variability. Another game that I can recommend is . I own and have played it too.
There are other games where you absolutely can do that and still do quite well, Ark Nova is one of them. Whether or not you enjoy that type of game is a personal preference, but it definitely is not just a "Euro games" thing.
Ark Nova is really good at 2 player. If you want to try it out first, it's available on BGA (it's a "premium" game but you're still able to play it as a free player, just have to wait in queue longer).

Just like Terraforming Mars, the theme makes Ark Nova extremely popular. The mechanics are easy to grasp. Honestly, the mile high deck is the worst part of Ark Nova.
