So I decided to make the switch to UniFi Protect and honestly I’m very happy with it. I’m running 10 G4 Pro cameras on a Dream Machine Pro and POE switch. I was a little nervous at first before making the switch for a few reasons.

21 lip 2024 · Today I am reviewing the Ubiquiti Camera G4 Pro. I have been using this device for the past month, and I must say that I love it. My old system was a CCTV that I had to have professionally installed. It cost more than $8,000 USD and it was not even 1080P quality and had no audio capability.
The G4 Pro watches the driveway and the extra resolution makes license plates very easy to read. I wish the Flex had an increased FOV something around the nest cams 140. They're great for indoor applications as is though.

My experience so far is that the G5 Pro is a better camera, but not worth swapping out a G4 Pro for. The build factor with a little more plastic is fine with me, so that might be the only thing I could think of that could be a negative. - Image quality on the G5 Pro is slightly improved, with including better night quality.
