Galway Film Fleadh is Ireland’s leading film event, a six-day international film festival taking place every July on the edge of Europe in the West Coast of Ireland. ‘Fleadh’ is the Irish word for a feast or a celebration, and like Galway itself, our festival is compact, bohemian, informal and fun.

8 lip 2024 · Galway Film Fleadh has announced World, International and Irish Premieres for the 36th edition of the film festival taking place from this week 9–14 July in the Town Hall Theatre and Pálás Cinema.
4 lip 2022 · Across the fleadh, you can 80 films, 20 World Premieres, 33 Irish premieres and 108 short films, from 30 different countries. The event takes place principally in Town Hall Theatre and Pálás Cinema with some events taking place in the Galmont hotel.
The 36th edition of the Galway Film Fleadh has come to an end after another outstanding year. With sold out screenings across the festival programme the Fleadh featured 94 feature films and over 100 short films featuring the best of Irish and World Cinema.
