  3. 10 cze 2020 · Ultrasound is the imaging modality of choice in patients with suspected gallbladder pathology. Indications include upper abdominal pain, right flank pain, jaundice and appropriate patients presenting with sepsis or septic shock.

  4. Ultrasound images show normal liver with edematous and grossly thickened gall bladder wall (10 mm.). There is also a small fluid collection around the gall bladder. These ultrasound findings are diagnostic of acute cholecystitis (acalculous).
