4 lip 2023 · Learn about the admissions process and how to apply. If your child is aged 6 to 6+ as of 1 January in the year of admission, they can seek admission to Primary 1 (P1) of our mainstream schools through the P1 registration process for international students.
Take the relevant paper-based or computer-based Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE). The test must be taken within 12 months before the month of submission of the AEIS registration.
MOE conducts admission exercises for new International Students (non- Singapore Citizens (SC) or non-Singapore Permanent residents) who do not have a place in our mainstream schools and who wish to seek admission to Primary 2 – 5 and Secondary 1-3-levels in January of the following academic year.
The Preparatory Course is designed to prepare international students to sit for the Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) Test for admission into Singapore Government Secondary Schools. International Student must achieve at least 90% attendance rate (ICA Requirement).
International students who wish to seek admission to a MOE Secondary School (Secondary 1 to 3 levels) in the following academic year are required to sit for and pass the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) administered by the Ministry of Education at about September each year.
