27 kwi 2024 · Using G10 to set up Tool and Work Offsets can be a real power tool in your g-code programming arsenal, because it lets you automate things the operator would normally have to take care of manually each time at the CNC Machine’s control panel.
Within the last couple of weeks, there was a post in one of the forums about using a G10 line to set tool length offsets, cutter comp, work co-ordinates and other related values. I have been unable to find that post again and was hoping someone out there could direct me to it.

17 sie 2023 · G10 means your datum positions are saved with your CNC program. The vice or fixture needs to be in exactly the same place when you next set it up. You can use special single point location fixturing or just make a sub plate.
G10 Set Offsets (Group 00) G10 lets you set offsets within the program. G10 replaces manual offset entry (i.e. Tool length and diameter, and work coordinate offsets).

19 lut 2021 · I'm trying to make up some in house manual entry operations that will set some G10 offsets. I wanted to generate a document that we can easily understand & that got me thinking about how lacking my knowledge of G10s capabilities is.
