17 wrz 2009 · G 1/4" is a BSPP thread, at 19 threads per inch. NPSM has nothing to do with these fittings or blocks. You will occasionally see G 1/4" listed as G 1/4" BSPP. Again, with the compression fitting, just toss a second o-ring on there to make sure it seals well with the GTZ.

The most common G 1/4″ threads at WIKA are surely the G 1/4 in accordance with EN 837 or DIN 3852-E. But in addition there are many other pressure connections which are all specified as G 1/4″. For example G 1/4 Ermeto and G 1/4 DIN 3852-A, just to name two.
9 lut 2008 · Depends on what fitting you are using. Usually, tighten by hand first till it get hard then give a 1/4 - 1/2 turn with a wrench. Make sure the O-ring doesn't get pinched or escape the groove.

G(1/4) fitting to NPT port I know it is advices against doing this, but I’ve often heard G fittings are known to be “universal” up to certain pressures. I’m wondering what this pressure limit could be.
