Bass mainline is fine - the last shape and details are still classic and look good, but the materials and construction are meh at best, terribly overpriced at worst. In general, I think you get a very noticeable jump in quality going from Bass to AE (even seconds) or Rancourt.

Hi all, I wanted to share my experience with G.H. Bass and the lack of any customer support they have if you make a purchase in store. I bought a pair of their brown Mountaineer hiking boots over the Christmas break at their factory store down in Charlotte, NC.
I've seen G.H. Bass, but don't know anything about them other than the Weejuns. Check over at r/goodyearwelt (just search the sub for Bass and see if anything comes up.)
