Windows 10 is overzealous regarding security settings. 2) UAC must be disabled (reduced to its minimum setting), and all installers shall be ran as administrator. 3) Use the No-CD patch.

13 lis 2018 · For running FS9 in Win 10 you need to replace the FS9.exe with: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 V9.1 No-CD Patch (search in google) Run as Admin. and in compatibility mode: Win XP SP3 Also with Nvidia cards, use Nvidia inspector and in: 1-COMPATIBILITY - Antialising compatibility, select 0x004412C1 (Diablo III).
21 lut 2020 · In a fit of nostalgia, I reset FS9 under Windows 10 64 bits. It works fine (high fps by the way). But I cannot instal new sceneries. At most, I can see them for a short time in the box, receiving the message in red to close FS and start again to record them.
1 sty 2017 · Step by step procedure to install FS2004 on the new W10 PC: • Load the four CD discs using either built in or external CD drive (I got a warning message from Microsoft – unknown origin (strange) – so have O.K.d the install. Install it (custom!) to your own folder on C drive, NOT to the Program Files, which I thing is a default.
