3 mar 2023 · This helps in installing source code packages if you intend to compile FreeCAD yourself. If you just want to use FreeCAD, just install the program - either the current release version v0.20.2 from the home page or the weekly build development version v0.21 from the GitHub repo.
29 maj 2021 · Are the brew-based instructions in this thread the current "best" way to compile and run FreeCAD on an M1 Mac? About a year ago, I had followed Irv's thread to get FreeCAD (via Mini-Conda) to compile and run on a Mac.
16 maj 2022 · Is there an idea or a rough schedule when FreeCAD will be available for Apple Silicon? I am using FreeCAD with an old MacMini but when the native Apple Silicon version (without using Rosetta) is available I would like to install it on the M1 MacBook Air.
