14 kwi 2023 · Introduction. This tutorial shows how to produce a rendered image in Blender, beginning from a part or assembly created with FreeCAD. It assumes that the user already created the part in FreeCAD, or has imported it into it. Then this part is exported to Blender for rendering.
Have long not exported to Blender. There are 2 export modules may try - a) Alias Mesh, b) Waterfront OBJ - Arch module. The latter to my memory would try to make coplanar triangles into unified face, but this is much slower.
14 lis 2016 · So, what I do is export my model from FreeCAD to something like STEP or IGES and then import it into Solidworks. From there, it's a few easy clicks to export a 3D PDF. You don't really have to know a lot about Solidworks, just how to point and click on some menus.
A free Add-on may invert the project development workflow and make Blender provide 3D data for such tools. As a brilliant effort from developer Dion Moult, an exporter that will allow Blender to generate IFC files is under development.

13 paź 2020 · In this tutorial I show how to export a FreeCAD model as STL file and then import it into Blender 2.9. Although it is a straight forward process there are a few small issues that have to be solved to be able to work well with the mesh in Blender. I will explain these in the video.
The following steps delivered a 3D PDF, which can be opened e.g. with acrobat reader. Extract the contents of the attached zip to somefolder . Export the object as Mesh (extension .stl) into that folder, let's say the filename is somefolder/object3D.stl .
