19 sie 2016 · My PC is running Windows 10 with the latest updates but has suddenly become unusable with disk usage staying at 100% even with nothing running and just the same processes listed in Task Manager as before the problems started.
click only on one partition that has the most free storage space and click on custom size. initial size is the recommended size mentioned under and so is the maximum size too. apply the settings and then restart.
Come back after 10 minutes and sure enough, frozen again, but Task Manager shows 100% disk usage even though nothing is open or running. Disk usage is pinned at 100% with every process showing 0 Mbps under it.
