Aerial imagery is not cheap, especially if you're commissioning the initial flight. Google largely uses imagery that others already commissioned. They can only make 3D imagery out of aerial imagery that meets very specific criteria.

I have a laptop with both integrated and dedicated graphics RTX3050 and could NOT get it to work, even with hardware acceleration enabled, forced the OS to utilize the 3050 to launch Chrome. Ultimately, forcing WebGL mode as above was the fix for anyone else struggling.
