By far the best application I have found is AnkiDroid, it's a flashcard app that allows you to download whatever you want your flashcards to be, it shows you a word and you have to try to remember what it means then click to see the meaning, if you got it right it won't show that word again for a few days but if you got it wrong or found it ...
