Is The Social Network really a masterpiece? Lately I’ve been seeing a resurgence of people talking about The Social Network and how good it is. I checked it out from the library, tried to go in with an open mind, and I ended up thinking it was ok. I’d give it a 6/10 for “better than average”.

Granted, some good things have developed using 'social networking' but generally it's "bad" in my opinion. The Movie: So, if I could get past that title, I might be able to watch it. Instead, I'll just absorb your review and pat myself on the back for saving two hours or so by avoiding this film.
Mark created Facebook to connect people but was also motivated by besting his competitors. The film does not make a definitive judgment about whether Mark stole the idea for Facebook but shows he was willing to do whatever it took to build the largest social network.
I just watched this movie and a lot is going through my mind right now and I want to hear some discussion and also ask a few questions :) Is anything missed in the film that's important or you would of like to have seen?
