23 paź 2021 · The short answer to this question is a simple toggle button. In settings, go to the network menu, and flip the fourth option down, called platform-based matchmaking, to disabled. Then, make sure everyone you want to play with has this disabled as well.
It requires a free XBOX Live account, so I'm pretty sure it'll use MS servers, meaning Crossplay between Steam and Gamepass/ Windows store will be a thing, and maybe even crossplay with Xbox players down the line.
Crossplay is available entirely for multiplayer (this includes Firefight). Campaign is currently on Halo 3: ODST and Halo 3. There is no word if this will extend to other games.
