9 lip 2021 · Downloading and Using. First, find the correct download from the Caïssabase website. You will get a .zip file that is almost 500 MB. The files are in the SCID database format. If you are using SCID (or SCIDvsPC/SCIDvsMac), you are ready to use this. Just open the database in SCID and you are set.
Try with the OTB PGN file version with SCID, the other format is exclusive of Chessbase. For Scid you need to use the command line to import the PGN file into SCID format, here's how to proceed: http://scidvspc.sourceforge.net/doc/Pgnscid.htm

They have several databases containing thousands of games that can be downloaded and easily merged into a single DB using a command window
