20 lip 2019 · Windows is pretty stupid, so may assign the hyperthreaded cores to TF2 instead of the real cores. To fix this, while TF2 is open, you can assign specific cores to TF2, or "process affinities". In Task Manager, right click the TF2 process (might be called Team Fortress 2 or tf_win64.exe in the details tab).

20 kwi 2024 · Remove all of the launch options you have set on TF2, and the game can open again. I tried to see if it was the launch options and it was, I copy-pasted my launch options in a text document to save them and then removed them from my launch options.
